why does the poet scarcely mention about the departure of the tree in the poem "trees"?what values are depicted here in this poem?

The poem is a comment on the social problem of deforestation. Though the poet is able to feel the loss (of trees that surrounded her vicinity), she is not baffled by it. The idea expressed is a complex one. There is a sense of loss but there is no lamenting because the departure must take place for the sake of nature. By not writing about the departure, she wants to distance herself from the spectacle of moving away of trees.
