why does the poles experience 6 months day and 6 months night ??????

Dear Student

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

The Poles experience about six months of day and six months of night because of the tilt of the Earth on its axis. Because of this tilt, each Pole is tilted towards and away from the Sun for about six months each.

When the North Pole is tilted towards the Sun, it experiences continuous daylight for six months. It is night for the same time period at the South Pole. These conditions are reversed when the South Pole is tilted towards the Sun

Hope this information will clear your doubts about Poles experiencing 6 months day and 6 months night

the earth is tilted on it's axis at 23.5 degree. and it's direction remain constant towards the Pole star. so during six months the earth north pole faces towards the Sun and experience continuous six months of day and same time in the south pole has six months of night. after six months the South pole continuously faces towards the Sun and has continuous day and the north pole has night for six months.
