Protein synthesizing machinery evolved around RNA because RNA is capable of movement from nucleus to cytoplasm where protein synthesis occurs. Unlike DNA, RNA for a particular protein is not always present in the cell and this ensures that required proteins are synthesized only at appropriate time.
