why does the thought for that time to wait for the snake to drink up the water ?what are the valve you learnt ? list some:

Dear student,

The poet thinks that he should wait for the snake to finish drinking water first because according to him it was a guest at his trough and a guest should always be respected. The poet felt humbled, honoured, and privileged to host the snake on that hot afternoon day. This tells us that the poet was a gentleman who knew how to respect a creature's personal space and how to oblige a guest.
