Wanda's house reminded Maddie about her blue dress, because she was thinking about how badly Peggy treated Wanda. Wanda was a quiet girl who lived up on Boggins Heights. Wanda was a shy girl who only once spoke in the school yard about her hundred dresses. Maggie remembered Wanda telling about one of her dresses, pale blue with coloured trimmings.And she remembered another which was a brilliant jungle green with a red sash. Therefore, Maddie was reminded about Wanda's dress when she was thinking about her house.
