Why don't we hear sound of exploding meteors in sky

Sound travels so much more slowly than light does,Thus the explosion of a particularly large meteor shouldn't be heard for several minutes after the meteor's sighting.

because meteors are far away from us the sound coming from them is having verry low amplitude or frequency that our ear is not able to hear the sound.

And as sound can only travel through,solids,liquids and gases and it canot travel through vacuum,we are not able to hear the sounds of the meteors explode in the space...
