Why electric potential at mid point of dipole is equal to zero?

Electric dipole moment of a dipole is equal to zero at mid point because at this point the force to positive and negative charge is equal and opposite, hence they cancel each other and the resultant force and therefore potential is zero.

Because dipole is a pair of two equal n opposite charges ......n at mid point the +ve charge n -ve charge cancels each other i.e:by principle of superposition q-q=0 "sum of point charges of a dipole is zero"

As V = kq /r so at midpoint of dipole if there is a point A then A is equidistant from both the charges of dipole and both these charges are oppositely charged so V= kq /r - kq/r =0
