why erth n sun pull d body in difeerent directions during day and in the same directions during the night

If you draw a straight line between sun body and earth.
Then during day, the body is between earth and sun, hence it experiences gravitational force from earth and sun acting on opposite sides.
But during night the earth is now in between the body and the sun, hence now gravitational force due to sun and earth both are acting in the same direction.
