Why has the government set up non-formal education?

Non –formal education is that type of education that does not require any school or particular course or curriculum. The government has set up non-formal education to enhance community education, lifelong education, and adult education. It eradicates illiteracy so that every citizen gets a fair chance to be educated and also acts as a second-chance education. Improving women’s access to become educated, and also to have vocational training, technology this non-formal education is set up.
