Why in habers process nitrogen one part and hydrogen 3 parts are used
Dear Student
Every 1 mole of nitrogen gas that takes part in the reaction will consume 3 moles of hydrogen gas and produce 1 mole of ammonia.
This is the reason why this concentration is used.

The balanced chemical equation of Habers process is as follows:
N2(g) + 3H2(g) → 2NH3(g)
Every 1 mole of nitrogen gas that takes part in the reaction will consume 3 moles of hydrogen gas and produce 1 mole of ammonia.
This is the reason why this concentration is used.
