Why is 'how' a WH-Question?

- Ideally, a 'Wh' question has a "Wh' word in the question, usually in the initial position.

For example: Who are you?

- A 'Wh' question requires information in the answer, rather than just a 'yes' or a 'no'. In that sense, we include 'how' questions under 'Wh' questions.

For example: How are you planning to go there?

Why are you planning to go there?

What are you going to wear?

(All these questions require information in the answer.)
