Why is it important to spread consumer awarenes?

Dear student, It is important to spread consumer awareness among the people so that they can get to know about their consumer rights such as Right to be informed, Right to choose, Right to safety, Right to heard, Right to seek redressal and Right to consumer education and so on.The main aim of spreading awareness is to secure consumer against all unfair practices and providing them with different consumer rights. It is important so that people i.e.consumer without whom market is incomplete can seek remedies and can take actions.
