why is it summer in the northern hemisphere in june?

In June the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun. so sunray fall more vertically over northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere receives more slanted rays. The northern hemisphere receives more heat and radiation and summer season in it and winter season in southern hemisphere.
