From my point of view,when people have stereotypes they seem to assign different tasks, jobs to different people with a fixed idea that it is possible only for that person. The assumptions may not be true in reality.So it gives a different image of the person or thing that is not exactly correct .Thus I believe that it is unfair to have a stereotype.For eg:it is believed that women like shopping although it is not true for all.
