Why is pressure on a concave side of a liquid drop or bubble more than that on its convex side

Surface tension:

It is the tendency of a liquid to oppose the external force.

In the case of a liquid surface in curved shape, the expression for excess pressure between its curved surfaces (concave and convex) is

p=T1R1+1R2 Here, T is surface tension, R1 and R2 are the radii of curvature of curved surfaces.

The reason for more pressure on concave surface is the property of surface tension.
