WHY IS THE RATE OF POPULATION GROWTH IN INDIA DECLINING SINCE 1981?

 The population rate of growth is declining in India because of rapid decline in birth rate since 1981.The reasons responsible for this rapid decrease are as follow: 
1.Lack of proper medical facility.
2.Lack of proper knowledge against diseases.
3.Lack of proper education and literacy rate.

ths is bcause since 1981 the birth rates were declining rapidly the death rates were increasind due to the lack of proper health

Since 1981 the rate of population growth started declining gradually . during this period birth rates declined gradually . when a low annual rate is applied to a very large population it yields a large absolute increase when more than a billion people increase even at a lower rate the total numbers being added becomes very large. India's current annual increase in population is 15.5 million is large enough to neutralise efforts to conserve the resource endowment.

The family planning programme helped in increasing the awareness about the benefits of smaller family size. This helped in reducing the growth rate in India since 1981

After we got our independence in the year of 1941 the population increases the one of the major problems of our country.

But due to many reasons the the population growth is declining since 1981.

Because,

1) increase of the female education.

2) increase of the proper sex education.
