why is very heavy furniture like cupboard usaually fitted with wheels?

Heavy furniture has wheels as they make it easier to push the furniture to around. This is because the sliding friction is replaced by rolling friction which is lesser.

So that it can be moved around easily (rolling friction is better than sliding friction).

we know that sliding friction is smaller than static friction.the wheels make the heavy object slide therfore friction is reduced and work will be made easy.
