why lysosomes and vacuoles are included in endomembrane system? how are they coordinated?

The lysosomes and vacuoles are considered  part of the endomembrane system because the functions of lysosomes and vacuoles are coordinated with the functions of other members of the endomembrane system,i.e., endoplasmic reticulum and golgi apparatus. Being different organelles, their functions are also different. Lysosomes  are the organelles responsible for digestion of  various substances like carbohydrates, proteins, etc, while vacuoles are responsible for facilitating expulsion of waste products from the cell.

THE ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM PRODUCES PROTEINS, LIPIDS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES THAT ARE MODIFIED AND PACKED BY THE GOLGI BODY IN VACUOLES AND TUBULES. THESE VACUOLES THEN HELP IN TRANSPORTATION OF THESE SUBSTANCES TO DESIRED SITES. ALSO THE GOLGI BODY PRODUCES LYSOSOMES THAT FIGHT PATHOGENS AND STORE VARIOUS HYDROLYTIC ENZYMES, HERE THESE HYDROLYTIC ENZYMES ARE ALSO A PRODUCT OF THE VARIOUS FUNCTIONS OF ENDOMEMBRANE SYSTEM. THEY PROVIDE IMMUNITY TO THE CELL.
