Why mango trees cannot grow in temperate countries like Canada and germany

Mango trees grow out in areas with minimum temperature 30 degrees, although mature trees can survive in temperatures as low as 25. In Canada like temperate  countries the minimum temperature is not 30 degree so the seeds can’t thrive out of the soil. This is the reason that  mango tree cannot grow in temperate countries.

Mango is a tropical fruit. In the same way some plants are adapted to a cold weather, like snowdrops, there are plants like mango trees adapted to tropical weather.

According to Darwin the species as they are result from a mixture of adaptation to the enviroment and natural selection, more adapted species are more sucessfull in specific enviroment. Mangos got specialized into tropical environment.
