Why NaBH4 +C2H5OH does not reduce 1? RX to RH . What are its product then

Dear student
Your question is not clear, kindly mention a clear statement of the question
Here we mention the reduction by NaBH4
NaBH4 on dissipation converts into Na+ ion which further acts as a electriphile but since H-H is considered to be the strongest stable covalent bond and hence to reduce H+ bond to form NaH bond is really not a good choice.
In NaBH4, the negative charge is developed by the non metal, B, which is relatively stable. This slows down the reaction making the hydride a weaker nucleophile.
Hence NaBHdo not reduce RX to RH
