Why only the X chromosome is responsible for colour blindness or haemophilia why not Y chromosome

@ shivam

colour blindness and haemophillia is a chromosomal disease ,

and the gene which are responsible for these two disease will be only found in the X chromosome and not on the Y chromosome ,

thatswhy , Y chromosome are free from these two chromosomal disorders.

The recessive gene responsible for haemophilic trait is only present on non homologous region of X chromosome and has no allele on Y chromosome. hence, only X chromosome is responsible for haemophilia.
