Why Oxyhaemoglobin is an unstable compound?

in oxyhaemoglobin 4 atoms of oxygen reacts 4 atoms of iron in presence of blood.blood not very good medium to make this compounds as stable.if oxyhaemoglobin reaches cellular region there is pressure of CO2 is high than that of O2 hence in presence of CO2 O2 is released.hense oxyhaemoglobin is unstable compound.

It is simply not bound very tightly. The binding of oxygen to hemoglobin is a reversible reaction that is based on the partial pressure of oxygen; it is also a function of the pH of the environment (oxygen is held less tightly in lower pHs)
