why prepaid expenses appear in realisation accounts as it cannot be realised?

Pre-paid expenses are an asset of the firm, therefore, at the time of dissolution of a partnership firm, we transfer all assets on the debit side of realisation account. To the fact that it cannot realise anything, it will form part of the loss to the business.
