why r tap root called true root

Tap root is called true root because it develops from radicle of embryo where as in fibrous roots radicle dies which leads to the formation of fibrous roots.

bcoz the tap root is the main root of plant going straight downwards secondry roots comes from the tap root onle. it it calle a true root bcoz it is hard to uproot a plant with a taproot and transplant that
