Why river water is take for drinking and not sea water?
Why filtration cannot be used to separate salt and water?

Dear Students,
River water doesn't contain high amount of salt while sea water contain high amount of salt and that salt are difficult to filter by our kidney and also harmful for human body.

Filtration can't be used because salt is completely soluble in water and by this method generally we can remove insoluble solid from liquid.

Sea water is not used for drinking because it has many salts dissolved in it and it is not good for human body . But ricer water does not contain salt so, river water is good for human

Filtration cannot be used to separate salt and water because . The pure water is collected in a container . However , filtration techniques cannot be used to separate salt from sea water because salt and water is a true solution and thus the particles cannot be separated by simple filtration .
