why SF6 exists but OF6 does not?

Since oxygen belongs to the 2nd period it does not have d orbitals and the Sulphur is of third period and therefore has empty d orbitals (3d). So oxygen can not expand its valency that is it can maximum can take two electrons two completes octet whereas sulphur could expand it's valency and thus can form SF6
