why silt is more fertile than ordinary soil?

Silt is the alluvium deposited by rivers while running through mountains. Silt is also known as rock flour and stone dust. Silt is component of loamy soil which is a most fertile soil. With silt, loamy soil also contains sand, clay and humus. So silt is very important component of soil and very helpful in agriculture processes.
