Why the amswer is 4 even though NADPH2 isnt formed in ps1

Q.9. The biochemical objective of PS I is to
(1) oxidise NADPH
(2) hydrolyse ATP
(3) phosphorylate ADP
(4) reduce N A D P +

Dear student,
Answer is 4) reduce NADP+
ATP and NADPH is formed in cyclic photophosphorylation. ‚ÄčThe biochemical objective of PSI is to reduce NADP+ to NADPH. NADP+ is able to be reduced to NADPH by taking electrons which has been excited from PSI (P700) and hydrogen ion from stroma.
