During an evening in J's room, George, Harris and J. himself convince themselves that they have various illnesses. It is due to overwork and inadequate rest. So, they decide in favour of a fortnight's holiday. Harris describes how his brother-in-law went for a short sea trip for the benefit of his health. They finally settle for a boating trip on the Thames to benefit from fresh air and peaceful environment.
