TAPLOW WAS HORRIFIED TO SEE MRS . CROCKER HARRIS ST6ANDING BY THE DOOR SCREEN WATCHING TAPLOW AND FRANK BECAUSE  THEY WERE CRACKING JOKE ON MR, CROCKR HARRIS. TAPLOW WAS MOCKING ABOUT HOW MR HARRIS LED HIM IN A SITUATION WERE HE HAD TO EXPLAIN THE JOKE HE HAD NOT EVEN UNDERSTOOD.

Taplow was horrified to see Mrs. Crocker Harris because he and Mr. Frank were cracking jokes on her husband. He was afraid that if Mrs.Crocker Harris heard them, then she might tell it to her husband and then he wont get his remove.
