why we can't move our elbow backwards

Because the joint is a 'hinged joint' with cartilage and ligaments stopping the joint bending backwards.

HOPE ITS CLEAR :) :)

Our elbow has hinge joint this joint allow movement only in one plane like a door hinge it can not move more than 180 degree.

  • -2

We can't move our elbow backwards because the joint present in our elbow is hinge joint, so it allows movement in one angular plane only.

  • -3

Because in our elbow there is a hinge joint and it allows only 1/2 of movement .

  • -2

because it is a hinge joint  it is just like a hinge of doors

  • -3

we cant move our elbow backwards because of the presence of the hinge joint. the hinge joint allows movement just like the hing of a door in an angular pane

  • -3

we cant move our elbow backwards because of the hinge joint.this joint works like the hinges of a door.hence,it cant move backward.

  • -2
The elbow has a hinge joint that allows back and forth movement.
  • -2
the joint that is present in our elbow is the hinge joint which only makes back and fourth movement and it is present in our elbow knees toes and fingers
and they work like the hinges of our doors
  • -3
we cant move our elbow backward because it is made up of hinge joint which allows only back and forth movement.

  • -3
The joint present in our elbow is hinge joint. It allows movement in only one direction so that we cannot move our elbow backwards.
  • -3
it is a hinge joint that can't move backward
  • -2
Because of the hinge joint present in our elbow.
  • -3
We have hinge joint which moves front .And have ball and socket
  • -1
We didnt move our elbow backword because it has hing joint .Hing joint is the joint that allows movment only in one or single direction that is frount direction becase of these regions we can not move our elbow in frount direction only
  • 5
We cannot move our elbow backwards because it has a hinge joint. Hinge joint is a joint that can only move in one direction that is the front side.
  • 1
Because its a joint
  • -2
The elbow has a hinge joint. This types of a joint allows the movement in one direction only. There for our elow cannot move back ward
  • -2
Because it is a hinge joint and hinge joint allow movement in front side
  • -2
because it is a hinge joint which can only move forward.

Elbow cannot move backward because it is hinge joint and it moves in one direction.

we can't move our elbow backwards because we have a hinge joint in our body that allows our bone to move in and 180 degree of angle.

There are nuckle in elbow because of this elbow cannot move backward
  • -1
We can not move our elbow backward because it has a hinge joint which allows movement upto 180 degree.

we cannot move our elbow backwards because the hinge joint which is present in our elbow, allows movement in only one angular plane.
  • -1
our elbow can move only backward because it has a Hinge Joint this only move backward
  • -1
I think we can write more to get marks SO,we can't bend our elbows because it is hinge joint. HINGE joint is like the hinges of the door. We have hinge joint in knees, elbows, fingers and toes. They allow movement in one direction
  • -1
We cannot move our arm backward because the elbow has a hinge joint. It allows the arm to move in one direction only.

Take an eg - the hinges of the door how does it move, it moves only in one direction same like that we have hinge joint in our elbow that moves exactly the same as the hinges of the door. So this is the reason why the elbow moves only in one direction

We can't move our elbow backwards as it has hinge joint. Hinge joint allows movement in one direction
  • 1
Because we have the bone joint so we cannot move are elbow bavkward

The rounded end of one bone fits into the cavity (hollow space) of the other bone. Such a joint allows movements in all directions which is called as ball and socket joint. ?Our elbow?cannot?move backwards?because it has hinge joints which only allow back to forth movements
  • 0
because our elbow is one side movable joint.

Dear friend,

We can't move our elbow backwards because it has hinge joint, it has a door like opening. It doesn't have that much flexibility. It has limitation to move in a particular direction.

HOPE THIS ANSWER IS HELPFUL:)

We cannot move our elbow backwards because hinge joint is present in our elbow. Hinge joint allows only to and fro movement. That's why we can only move our elbow to and fro. Hinges are also present in doors which helps the door to close and open.
