Why we use "pie" in the formulas?

Dear Student,

When we are using the formula's in Circles, We required pie to equate the value. Without pie, we can use only proportionality sign, but can't equate it.

Hello there dear friend 👋 here’s your answer:-⬇️ Hope it helps ☺️😊😉😜 😋🤗😃😄 As a circle gets rescaled, the ratio between the circumference and the diameter remains invariant, and π π was symbol commonly used to denote this ratio. So for a circle of diameter 1 1 , the circumference is π π . It's therefore not surprising to see arc length of a circle expressed in terms of π.
