WHY WERE THE STUDENTS OF TRADITIONAL INDIAN SCHOOLS WEAK IN SCIENCE?

They were weak in science because:
They believed in superstitious beliefs hence,lacked scientific temper.
Unavailability of scientific tools or instruments for conducting researches etc.
Lack of science studies in the institutions etc.
