WHY WHEN WE CUT A CIRCULAR PIPE HORIZONTALY WE OBTAIN A RECTANGLE?
As shown in figure, a rectangle is obtained when we cut the pipe horizontally.
When we cut the pipe in two halves ,two symmetrical pieces will be obtained.When we lay these halves on the plane surface,we will get two rectangles.
