Why will a charged particle moving with an acceleration lose energy?

When a substance moves with acceleration it means that force is being acted upon it. Now in the absence of any force if the particle is moving with acceleration then it means that the particle is using its own internal energy for this purpose. As a result its energy will decrease if it wants to move with acceleration.
