whyare tropical evergreen forests not commercially exploited
1) Since Tropical Evergreen forest region remain warm and wet throughout the year, it has rich vegetation of flora variety
2) These forests have commercially important trees like ebony, mahogany, rosewood, rubber and cinchona whose by - products are used in different industries like in furniture, tyres, medicinal products, perfume products etc.
3) But the variety of trees are not available in pure form as in the species are scattered and the commercial exploiation proves to be very expensive.
4) Hence, the commercial exploitation is not done on large scale.
