Will red light passing through a prism result in a spectrum

A prism separates different colors of white light when it falls on it. As the different colors have different wavelength, they get separated after going through the prism.

But, red light has a single wavelength, and no other color is present in it. So, red light will not form a rainbow. It will simply show one color, which is red.

No, it will not. Because red is a primary colour i.e. it is not a mixture of two or more colours. did u understand? :-)

Yes, the red light passing through a prism will result in a spectrum. But red light is refracted the least and violet is refracted the most.
