With a water crisis during the peak summer months looming large, the Delhi Government has asked 35 five-star hotels to take immediate steps to cut down their consumption and directed them to set up waste water treatment plants.

Identifying the five-star hotels as major guzzlers of water, the Government has directed them to take a number of ?concrete steps? by June to conserve water and install waste water treatment plants by September.

According to you which three values are expected to be projected by hotels in take in concrete steps to carry out their business responsibilities also suggest any three remedies to conserve water.

a) They should follow the instructions of the government and reduce the consumption of water.
b) They should work in the environmental friendly way and try to protect and conserve environment.
c) They can innovate new ways to re-use the water or to reduce the consumption of water.
Three ways by which hotels in Delhi can conserve water are-
a) Introducing rain water harvesting in hotels.
b) Reuse waste water for watering plants and garden in hotels.
c) Hotels can introduce waterless urinals for the common washrooms like in lobby, near their dinning areas etc.
