Honourable judges, Respected Principal Sir and teachers & all my dear friends,
I'm here to speak about the advantages of texting instead of writing a letter.
We are living in a technological era, where writing online messages is found more convenient instead of writing a letter. Texting is fast and efficient. Nowadays, people are using social websites like Facebook, Whatsapp, e-mail etc as they find online messages easy to deliver and less time consuming and also they have less time due to the hectic schedule. Texting is the best way to transfer information quickly from one point to another and is also well suited to short and concise messages. Understanding the handwriting is sometimes a difficult task in case of writing a letter.
On the other hand writing a letter is romantic and personal. The thoughts written in letters compared to those in texts come off more by heart because the amount of time committed to create the message are more personal. One has to take time out of the day to gather the materials, craft a letter, write it, address it and mail it. Emotions are genuinely expressed through handwritten letters and can be kept as memories for long.
According to my perspective, IIn order to follow the today's lifestyle, writing a letter might not be feasible these days. So,writing text messages are more preferable these days. There is no issue of handwriting in online messages. It takes too long to receive a letter. While the online messages are instantly delivered. Hence, online messages are suitable for this fast moving generation.
