Such questions are made for enhancing the self-creative skills and should be tried answering on your own. However, here some points that will help you in framing your answer:
You have to follow the prescribed format properly however there's not any specific one to be followed.
1. You have to start every new paragraph from the most leftward of the page. This format if called modern format of writing letters or diary entry.
2. Mention the place where you are staying at the moment or you may imagine any place of your choice. After that you have to mention the day and date then time also. Mostly, you must mention the time of evening or night before you go to sleep because that is the best time for diary entry.

3. After mentioning place, day, date and time you have to call your diary by its name like
Dear Rosy, or
Dear Pinky,
You must not use 'Dear Diary'.
4. After this you can express your feelings as you are talking to your best friend. The conversation will be informal.
e.g.
Do you know one of the classmates of mine named Riya returned to school after.......?
She has lost....
5. Try to share so.e more information like you're sharing with your friend using past tense and reported speech.
6. After telling all the things regarding the incident/activity you can say
'It's too late now. I am going to sleep Dear Rosy/Pinky. See you tomorrow.
