Subject: A complaint about the lawlessness in my neighbourhood.
I would like to draw your attention to police inadequacy in my neighbourhood, due to which the residents do not feel safe anymore. There have been many incidents of theft and robbery, in which many residents have lost a lot of money. There have been many reports of chain snatching and eve teasing, and even after filing reports no serious steps have been taken. Even though many requests have been filed for increasing police patrols in the neighbourhood, they have been ignored, and more than the residents I think criminals feel safe in our neighbourhood. Law and order are the backbone of any democratic society, and if the people do not feel safe in their own homes, then it is a shame on the law and justice system of our country.
It is my sincere hope, that you will take necessary action against the police force in charge of our neighbourhood, and help us in making our neighbourhood safer.
