Write a note on TRANSPIRATION
The process by which plants lose water from the leaves and aerial parts in the from of water vapour is called transpiration.The device used to measure transpiration is called potometer.It is essential in bringing rain,This is because when plants transpire they increase the amount of water molecules which results in rainfall.Transpiration also gives a cooling effect on plants.It also creates transpiration pull which results in absorption of water and minerals from soil.
