Write a pair of linear equations which has the unique solution x = – 1, y =3. How many such pairs can you write?

Dear Student,

We can write an infinite number of the equation with the following solution. For example :
3x+y=0 , 3x+2y=3 , 3x+3y=6, etc.
We other words we can say that (-1,3) is a point and we can draw an infinite number of lines passing through it.
