Write a paragraph
i) Two legs cricket. (The Ant and The Cricket)
ii) How did you enjoy the holidays. (Paste picture)
Dear Student,
Following is the answer to question number 1:
Two legs Cricket (The Ant and The Cricket):
Laziness always leads to sorrow and failure. If one utilises the present and works hard for a safe and secure future, he will surely get happiness and never has to struggle. On the contrary, those who enjoy their present doing nothing and don't value time but waste it would definitely struggle in their future.
In the poem "The Ant and The Cricket" the poet has beautifully portrayed this message with the help of these two little creatures. The ant works hard in the summer and stores grains for the harsh winter whereas the cricket only sings and dances throughout the summer and wastes the time. When the winter comes and the cricket has nothing to eat, he goes to ask for some grains from the ant. The ant denies to give him anything.
The crickets are four-legged insects but the poet compares such creatures with "crickets with two legs". Because the same is reflected in the real world. The laziness of human beings makes them the two-legged crickets, who just enjoy their present and fail to secure their future.
