Write a short note on a)
1) waste hand rule
2) criminal tribes act
3) grazing taxes

Dear student,
1) There is nothing known as waste hand rule , kindly check the question.

2) The Criminal Tribes Act was a series of laws passed by British rulers in India that notified several tribes as criminal by nature. It was first enacted during 1871. It affected the lives of pastoralists as they were forced to work in factories, mines and plantations under government supervision. Restrictions were imposed on their movements and adult males had to report to the police weekly.

3) The colonial government was interested in gaining huge profits,so they looked for every possible source of taxation. As a result tax was imposed even on grazing lands, around the mid nineteenth century, in India. The tax per head of animal increased rapidly over the years,as the british wanted more and more profits to their name.
