Write a short note on Akbarnama and Ain-i Akbari

Akbarnama:
Akbarnama is a three volume history of Akbar’s reign written by Abul Fazl. Abul Fazl was one of the closest friends of    
Emperor Akbar and a courtier in his Durbar.
  1. The first volume dealt with Akbar’s ancestors
  2. The second volume recorded the events of Akbar’s reign.
  3. The third volume deals with Akbar’s administration
 
   Ain-i Akbari: The third volume of Akbarnama is titled as Ain-I Akbari.
  1. It deals with Akbar’s administration, household, army, the revenues and geography of his empire.
  2. It also provides details about the traditions and culture of the people living in India.
  3. The most interesting aspect about the Ain-i Akbari is its rich statistical details about things as diverse as crops, yields, prices, wages and revenues.
