 rani laxmi bai was a freedom  fighter . her name befor her marraige was Manikarnika . She had played a very important role to set our india free from the britsh . When she was a teenager when his husbnd died . After the death of her husband she takes the reponsibilities of Jhasi ,therfor she was said to be the queen of jhasi .After the death of her husband it nessesary to give all the responsibilities to their son but rani lakshami bai dont have any son therfor she adopt a chlid [ son]  .It was defuse by the british that taking a adopted son and giving him the statuse of the king of the Jhasi .the britsh want to under take the the Jhasi but lakshmi bai fight bravly by putting his son on her back and taking a sword in her hand she won the fight .In this fight many people support rani laxmi bai the ost importany person was tatya tope[he was teacher o manikarnika]

Rani Lakshmi Bai (1835- 1858) was a great warrior of the Fist War of Indian Independence of 1987. Her heroic battle against the British has become the subject of many folks songs, ballads and poems in India. Her childhood name was Manikarnika. She was married to Raja Gangadhar Roa of Jhansi.

When her only son and her husband died, Jhansi came under the 'Doctrine of Lapse'. In 1983, Jhansi was annexed by the East India company. But , Lakshmi Bia decided not to surrender Jhansi to the British. The British force under the leadership of Sir Huge rose captured Jhansi. Like a true heroine, she fought against the British force. She created a battalion exclusively of women. She died on 17th June, 1985 fighting bravely.
