In swaraj Gandhiji has explained that freedom is the self assessment,self purification and above all the self reliance.For the freedom satyagaraha and non violence should be adopted as the means to fight against the oppression and tyranny.He shows how it replaces violence with self-sacrifice. It pits soul force against brute force.Hhe meant by freedom no discrimination to the countrymen whatsoever the class,creed,religion,sex they belong to.
