The Ant-lion is an Australian short story published in Judith Wright?s The Nature of Love in 1966. This is her first collection of short stories. The story setting is primarily Queensland and the story made its first entry in The Bulletin like all the other stories in The Nature of Love. The Ant-lion gives its reader a wonderful analysis of and insight into child psychology. Also The lion is too big and the ant is too small but ant is not weak and everyone knows lion is also powerful. One day the lion with Pride and a small ant climb on him?.
