  • Mohenjo Daro

It is located on the right bank of the Indus River, Sindh province, southern Pakistan.Mohenjo-daro was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1980.Citadel carried the religious and ceremonial headquarters of the site.In the lower town were substantial courtyard houses indicating a considerable middle class. The citadel mound has a specially designed water tank called 'the Great Bath'. South of the Great Bath is a massive building with solid brick foundations called 'the Granary' which probably operated as a large meeting place rather than for storage.
